I also have an Amana refrigerator I bought less than 2 years ago. Today the same thing happened--freezer makes everything hard as a rock and the refrigerator part is warm. 2nd time and last time the service (A&E) was lousy (but it was on warranty). Now I'm just about to buy a new fridge because it's obvious this one is a complete piece of junk. I guess I'll have to pay big bucks for service and then it'll die in a couple months again! GREAT. The last time it died was on CHRISTMAS! Every 6 months it's a goner. And for this I paid almost $2000.
